After the incredible, action-packed ‘Double or Nothing’, we are one step closer to All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) biggest show of the year – ‘All-Out’.
Set to take place on September 5, in Chicago’s Sears Center, there is a strong possibility that it will be moved to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida due to Coronavirus restrictions on large events. Despite this, it’s set to be an incredible show. Here are a few predictions to get you excited…
Young Bucks vs. FTR
Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood, formerly of World Wrestling Entertainment‘s (WWE) ’The Revival’ arrived in style on the 27th May edition of Dynamite, beating down Butcher and The Blade before an epic standoff with the Young Bucks. This rivalry is a long time in the making, as the two tag teams have been teasing it on social media through heated Twitter battles and subliminal messages on the popular YouTube show ‘Being the Elite’. There’s no doubt that these two teams will have an incredible match, with the added bonus of a huge payoff for fans who have wanted to see the match on the big stage for years.

Mike Tyson vs. Chris Jericho
Tyson vs. Jericho – the match you never knew you needed. On the 27th May edition of Dynamite, Tyson and his posse interrupted the Inner Circle’s pep rally, with the two groups squaring off against each other. Most notably, Tyson and Jericho got in each other’s faces and it felt like the pair were ready to throw hands. Jericho claims that he has been holding a grudge against Tyson ever since Tyson knocked him out on WWE Raw ten years ago.
This match could draw big money for AEW, as it appeals to both boxing and wrestling fans. The 53-year-old Tyson is in fighting shape and any fan would love to see him have a wrestling match against a grizzled veteran like Jericho. With a combined age of 102, this would be one of the most interesting matchups in recent history.

MJF wins TNT Championship
At ‘Double or Nothing’, Cody Rhodes, known as only Cody, became the inaugural TNT Champion after a gruelling battle against Lance Archer. He then announced that he plans on holding an open challenge for the title every week on Dynamite. It is likely that Cody will hold the championship all summer long, so an obvious match up for him to lose the belt would be against his former protégé turned arch-nemesis, the wrestler who goes by the name MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman).
Not only is this a pay-per-view calibre match, but it seems like this would be a great stage for MJF to finally win his first championship in the company after a dominant year. From winning the Dynamite Diamond ring to beating Jungle Boy at ‘Double or Nothing’, MJF has proved that he is a worthy contender for any championship and has solidified himself as one of the top heels in the company, so this match is a no brainer.

Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida
‘Role Model’ Britt Baker suddenly became a conspiracy theorist on the May 27th edition of Dynamite, blaming her string of bad luck and injuries on everyone but herself, especially referee Aubrey Edwards. Baker is out with an injured knee but promises to be back for ‘All-Out’, where she could face the new AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida.
Shida got the win over Nyla Rose in one of the most hard-hitting women’s matches we have seen in AEW at ‘Double or Nothing’, solidifying her as the top women’s star in the company. It is clear that from screen time, fan reception and merchandise sales, that AEW is building Britt Baker up to be one of the top stars in the company too, meaning that a match between these two for the championship at ‘All-Out’ is definitely a possibility.

Hangman Page turns on The Elite
It has been a strange few months for Hangman Page. He won the AEW Tag Team Championship with his partner Kenny Omega, but an apparent drinking problem and his refusal to fully commit to being a true member of The Elite has put his future with the company in muddy waters. Feeling disillusioned with seemingly everything, we may see Page finally flip and turn against The Elite entirely, thus becoming a dastardly heel. A bad guy cowboy gimmick could be really interesting to see, as well as a potential match against his current tag team partner Kenny Omega.

Not only would this be an incredible and almost definitely violent match, but it could also help Omega become AEW’s ultimate babyface after being turned on by his own tag team partner. But no matter what the circumstances are, it seems that Hangman Page can have a great match with just about anyone.
